Whether you're waiting to take the leap into starting your business, trying to foster company culture and see your business grow, or you're ready to make an exit, Makewell: Uncharted will help you face these seasons with confidence by being equipped and encouraged from the makers around you.
Not only will you hear from three incredible speakers, you'll also get to take part in a delicious social hour with local appetizers and drinks, participate in smaller groups for one-on-one learning, and receive premiere swag and resources to take home.
Join Us June 24th
CoStudio | 6 - 10pm
Eve Kostelecky, BREA Boutique
Eve Kostelecky owns BREA, a women’s clothing boutique in Mandan. Her love for boutique shopping started when she attended optometry school in CA.
At Makewell, Eve will be sharing her experience and greatest lessons learned from starting a new business from the ground up, how to include other local makers in your business, and how to use your craft to give back to the local community as a whole.
John Meyer, Lemonly
Sioux Falls, SD
At Makewell, John Meyer will give his process for creating a team culture that reflects the values of your business, the needs of your employees and the capacity of your company. Because workplace culture goes far beyond beer in the breakroom fridge.
Beth Schatz Kaylor, The Big Waffle Truck
In a grand experiment with social entrepreneurship, Beth launched The Big Waffle Truck in 2015, spending two glorious summers on the streets of Bismarck flinging waffles and celebrating local food.
At Makewell, Beth will outline her top lessons learned from the food truck front line, including how fear is your friend, when to move on, and why everything really is better with sprinkles.
Plus, we'll be having special guest, John Eugene: Yo-Yo Comedian, joining us to perform and entertain!
